I love the MAKERX platform and all the tools!

This review is for the 3pc Combo kit, but I own the entire Makerx set, having purchased the other tools separately. I use this kit all the time for various projects, at home, at camp, and at work. The rotary tool works wonderfully, much quieter than my old Dremel, and with the detached battery, much easier to hold and control. The included bits and accessories are all of good quality and very useful. I've also used the Wood & Metal Crafter (soldering iron) to solder electronic connections and it works well. It heats up fast, and I love the ability to set the digitally displayed temperature desired. I've not had a chance to use the airbrush yet, but certainly have some projects planned for it. I highly, highly recommend the entire Makerx line of tools. They are very good value for money, in my opinion.

Great starter tool for older kids

I got this combo kit for my daughter to get familiar with crafting and she loves it! The build quality is good, the tools are light and well designed. I wish the battery has indicated so I know how much juice left but it last pretty long anyway.

This is a great starter kit. I got to use all of them right away. It was a pretty simple setup. great packaging and well-built products. The airbrush was tricky to start when trying to figure out what paint and how thin it has to be to use it. once i got that down it was a breeze just make sure to clean it. The wood burner and rotary tool come in really handy for small detailed jobs they both are solid tools that everyone should have on hand. I would highly recommend this!
