Keep your blades, knives, and ax sharp and ready to use with a WOOX Whetstone Arkansas Sharpening Stone. The whetstone is made of Novaculite, a rock made of quartz crystals that give the Arkansas stone its unique sharpening ability. These crystals have a Mohs hardness of 7, which is much harder than any other steel used for making knives accessories. To use our Arkansas whetstone, we recommend using water as a lubricant because it is thinner than oils. After each use, the sharpening stone should be cleaned by wiping the excess water with our Bamboo cloth and then clean the stone with soapy water.
