Mixed Score for Weber.

I am 86 years old and I have owned a number of Weber grills through those years. Weber has not only built wonderful grills, they have stood behind what they build. They are good people to do business with. However, I just purchased a Weber Smoky Mountain 14" grill as the last one my wife and I I would need. When it arrived the package was not damaged. but was miss manufactured. Sickness for days prevented me from assembling it, I learned It did not fit together. No matter what I did, it would not fit tougher. I even had another couple wiho i exsperienced at things like this come over and all of us could not assemble it. We even tried gasket tapes to seal the air and smoke passages. No avail. A flashlight inside showed large spaces between the pieces where light would come out after the gaskets were applied. When I called the copany. they failed to offer any return of money or replacement of the grill. They offered only to send me replacement parts as an alternative I needed the whole grill replaced. It did not fit. When I called Weber they reused to replace it. Since I was taken with the small size that was ideal and my preference for Weber, I bought a second one hoping that between the two I would have enough parts. That cost me an extra. The new one is perfect.

A brilliant machine

I have enjoyed the 22" smokey mountain cooker for almost 17 years. The 14" smoker has all the excellent attributes of easy, consistent, predictable, low-maintenance performance at a scale more convenient and fuel-efficient for smaller, faster, more frequent meals.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Amazing!

As usual Weber has created a great well made product. I used it to smoke a Thanksgiving turkey and to everyone in our house it was a great success. My son even told me that it was like it used to be when he was growing up.
