Protect your dairy cattle from infectious disease by administering this Vira Shield 6 Vaccine. Vira Shield 6 is effective against infectious bovine rhinotracheitis (IBR), bovine virus diarrhea (BVD Type 1 and BVD Type 2), parainfluenza Type 3 (PI3) and bovine respiratory syncytial (BRSV) viruses. It's sold in 50 mL multi-dose vials and is designed for subcutaneous injection. The Vira Shield 6 vaccine can be given to healthy cattle, including pregnant cows and heifers.How it Works

The killed viruses found in Vira Shield 6 (Bovine Rhinotracheitis / Virus Diarrhea / Parainfluenza 3 / Respiratory Syncytial Virus) helps provide immunity for your cattle against disease caused by infectious bovine rhinotracheitis (IBR), bovine virus diarrhea (BVD Type 1 and BVD Type 2), parainfluenza Type 3 (PI3), and bovine respiratory syncytial (BRSV) viruses. Produced from non-cytopathic (BVD Type 1 and BVD Type 2) and cytopathic (BVD Type 1) isolates.

Special Precautions

Keep away from children and animals. Do not mix with other products, except as specified on the label. In case of human exposure, contact a physician. Do not vaccinate within 60 days prior to slaughter.

Contact your nearest emergency animal hospital

Side Effects

Transient swelling may occur at the site of injection. Anaphylactic reactions may occur. Symptomatic treatment: Epinephrine.

Storage

Store out of direct sunlight at 2°-8°C (35°-46°F). DO NOT FREEZE.

The vaccine was hot I threw it away.

The vaccine was hot when I got it. I threw it away. It should have been overnighted. I’m not sure if there was an option to overnight it shipping wise. If there was that option I missed it. If not , it should have been.
