Victor 10 lb. Snake Repelling Granules repel garter snakes, rattlesnakes, and other species from areas they are not wanted. This granular snake repellent is applied around the perimeter of the area you want to protect. Snake-A-Way is detected by the snake's Jacobson's Organ (auxiliary olfactory sense organ) and disrupts its sensory reception. This disorientation causes the snake to slither away in search of fresh air. Wearing gloves, apply the granules to the perimeter of the area that you want to be protected. Place bands 4-5 inches wide to repel garter snakes, 8-12 inches wide to repel rattlers. For yard application, sprinkle Snake-A-Way throughout the area within the perimeter. When odor becomes faint, simply reapply. This product contains naphthalene (7%) and sulfur (28%) as its active ingredients.

Product Is Not Good

I don't like this product..... It doesn't work AT ALL. After mowing my lawn I applied the product just like the it says on the 10lb bag heavy around my garage area inside and out, heavy around my front door and hedges.... And I came out the house tonight to a Snake shedding its skin this is the 2nd time this has happened.....
No, I do not recommend this product.

This product is granulated for easy broadcast distribution and is meant for outdoor use only. The directions are informative and helpful. One must wear protective gloves to handle the granules to distribute them. I got this because a non venomous snake came inside my lake house. The lake was filled with copper heads, water moccasins, rat snakes….etc. So I researched and found VICTOR SNAKE-A-WAY 4 LBS. SNAKE REPELLENT!!! It’s registered by the epa, which means it has no adverse effects when used correctly. It’s well packaged with clear directions for how it should be used and the bag is resealable so you can reseal it tight if you have granules left over. Snakes both venomous and non venomous are sensitive to smells (Jacobson’s organ) the snakes don’t like the smell they will Slither away to get away from the smell. After hard rains refresh around your areas and don’t leave gaps. All this information is right there on the bag. Please read before using. I’d refer VICTOR SNAKE-A-WAY 4 LBS. SNAKE REPELLENT to everyone

This product works well. I for one, read the directions exactly as it’s specifically said on the back of the bag and followed them and I think if most people would redirect a lot of these Q&A would be answered just saying.
