Victor Solar Powered Sonic Spikes offers a poison-free way to drive away moles, gophers. Every 30 seconds, sonic pulses penetrate the soil, emitting a penetrating sound that irritates moles and gophers, which are virtually blind and extremely sensitive to sound and vibrations. This method encourages moles to leave the property, and continues to discourage return visits. No batteries are required to operate the waterproof solar spike. It works

Initially it didn't really drive the problem gopher from the yard but it sure made him come to the surface by popping up a couple times a day right away. Difficult for them to move with our yards the way they are. I ended up getting impatient and tired of him digging up the lawn so I flooded him out then relocated him to a vacant field. It made that easy I think because he was near the surface trying to figure out what the irritant was. They aren't evil. So, I think it irritates them very much and definitely none have come back. If you have a lot of gophers in the area it will keep them out and maybe even make them move if you are patient and wait the 2 weeks they suggest.

I bought two of these for my small yard. One for the front and one for the back. They seemed to make the problem worse. Where b4 we would get small mounds of dirt where these thighs would dig up our yard. About two weeks after placement the mounds of dirt got much larger and more plentiful. Its like it had the opposite effect. Im going to have to lure a few stray cats in or something or set outside with a shotgun and blast these little turds when i see them pop up. Ive about had it with them. I highly recommend these as gifts for people you dislike

Waste of money

I had bought 5 spikes, said it cover a large area so I thought it would be perfect, but it wasn’t, placed the around the garden and random places in the front yard near the gopher holes, and the gophers don’t care, they dig a hole right beside the spike and make that there new home, the spikes have been in the ground over a month and if anything I have more holes than before, these are a complete waste of money
No, I do not recommend this product.
