Best dog food on the market

I did not realize how wonderful this dog food was until there was a recall and i had to switch to a different brand. After weeks of severe diahrrea, intense itching and hair loss I was finally able to purchase Victor again via ship to store and i cannot wait to have it again. I don't care one iota about the recall or the contamination with salmonella. Now that i have had experience with other dog foods i will literally never buy any other kind as long as this is available to buy.

Bad bag or just not right for my dogs??

Not sure if I got a bad bag but my dogs got sick. I was transitioning them from another brand as directed on the bag. I have a 4 year old Springer & a 18 week old mix breed puppy. The Springer stopped eating anything after the 3rd day. He became very lethargic and when he finally did eat, he threw it all back up. I stopped giving him the The new brand so he could eat. He gobbled the old brand down and kept it down. He’s now back to his old energetic self. The puppy who eats anything was doing doing ok until the transition mix became more new & less old. Then she started throwing up. I returned the food and I’m keeping to the original brand. When I returned the bag, I was told they had been having other reports from customers regarding similar problems with this food

Killed my dog & made the others incredibly sick.

My 5 1/2 year old incredibly healthy golden died out of nowhere just after we opened the most recent bag of the Victor High Pro Plus Classic Dog Food For All Life Stages and started feeding it to her. She started vomiting non stop and was gone within 12-15 minutes while we were trying to get her to the emergency vet. Our other dogs started with diarrhea and vomiting. We spent $3,800 already to keep one alive and she’s not out of the woods yet. We reported the issue to the manufacturer and they were rude and didn’t even act like they cared my dog died and others are violently ill. No condolences or anything. The food has an awful smell, one of my dogs luckily wouldn’t eat the food, and made the rest of our dogs violently ill and caused the death of my dog. We have been feeding this for years and due to the awful response and lack of action on the part of the manufacturer, we will never feed Victoria again.

Best dog food out there if you have a dog with teary eyes dry skin dry coat that feels like horse hair. Victor‘s dog food will take that all away won’t feed my dogs. Nothing other than Victors. I started feeding my hunting dogs victors after all the research and the research I did, they said if you have a dog with tear eyes victors Dog food would take it away so I put it to the test i had a little dog that always had teary eyes started feeding victors to him with my hunting dog and All the little tears around his eyes went away they weren’t lying. All my house, Dog and hunting Dogs got soft coats. They run all day. When my dogs takeoff with their handler to run akc hunt test. He feeds them a different brand of dog food while he’s got them and I can tell when I get him back from training because his coat is all rough and his skin is all dry so I go back to feeding them Victor’s and within a couple weeks hundred percent change, I’m telling you I swear by this food I will not feed my dogs Nothing else but victor’s. you gotta try it.
