Vetera 6 XP is a vaccine containing killed viruses that provides protection for horses against rhinopneumonitis (EHV-4 and EHV-1), tetanus, influenza type A2, and Venezuelan, Western, and Eastern encephalomyelitis. It's administered intramuscularly, and the first dose should be followed by a second dose 3-4 weeks later. The vaccine's Adjuvant Carbimmune system helps minimize injection site reactions for greater comfort. In addition, this Vetera 6 XP vaccine features Ultrafil Purification Technology to help ensure the horse's immune system only attacks the relevant antigens.How it Works

The exclusive Ultrafil™ Purification Technology in Vetera 6 XP works to remove most of the extraneous protein, which allows for more antigens in each 1mL dose. This allows the immune system of the horse to focus solely on relevant antigens, requiring less of each antigen and allowing for a more efficient immune response.

Special Precautions

• Always use entire contents after opening.
• Never vaccinate within 21 days prior to slaughtering.

• Shake thoroughly prior to use.
• Use aseptic technique to inoculate your horse intramuscularly using a 1mL dose.
• Intramuscularly administer a second 1mL dose 3 to 4 weeks later at a different injection site.
• Before anticipated exposure and annually, revaccinate with another 1mL intramuscular dose.
