We stained and sealed all the boards before construction. They come grey, but you can smell the cedar. The Philips heads are a pain, and you need to pre drill all screw connections. Definitely a 2 person job. Pay very close attention to instructions. Overall pretty sturdy and we look forward to using it.

My husband built a base for my greenhouse, and he also tiled it for me with some leftover tiles from when out house was built. The instructions were pretty thorough, and it was not too difficult to put together (although, he is a pretty handy guy so for him it was nothing.) It's great quality. Because we do get high winds where we live, he did use 1-2 dozen screws to secure it to the base. I'm 5'7 and can stand up inside with no problems. This was a great purchase.
