Swing nice… canopy not!!

The swing itself was nice but the canopy is terrible! Everytime it rains the canopy material collects water until it is so heavy that it collapses! The material needs to be sturdier so the rain runs off of it ! Hopefully they will redesign the canopy to have better frames and better material. Cannot recommend the purchase of this swing!

Suggestion to manufacturer

Excellent product and this is our 2nd one. However, the manufacturer should add one more canopy rafter so that rain and debris doesn't collect and stretch the fabric in a ponding manner. The additional "rafter" should be located in-between the other 2 outside supports. I intend to fabricate some sort of flexible plastic substitute to support the center portion of the structure (as this would have prevented the ponding that leads to fabric deterioration). The short-term solution is to fabricate some sort of flexible plastic rib as substitute.
