I just purchased this stick but wasn’t too worried about the label as a previous reviewer was since his FFA class was wanting them for the show ring. I was able to soak the label in hot soapy water to remove the paper then used a paper towel with Brakleen and the glue came off in seconds. No harm to the finish.

Item has manufacturer UPC label on the handle and when you try to remove it all the glue remains, when you try to remove the glue with simple go-gone, it removes the paint from the item. We purchased 3 for a local FFA competition and all 3 have the same problem. All 3 were given to different kids who in turn tried to remove the label.
