The Uniden® BCD160DN Scanner sets the standard for performance, features, and innovation. Exclusive features like Band Scope Rapid System/Channel Number Tagging, Narrowband Reception, and a complete suite of search features help you detect those elusive signals faster than ever. The scanner comes preloaded with DMR and NXDN (please note trunking and other digital modes, including APCO P25 are not supported) so you can start using your scanner as soon as you take it out of the box. It also receives NOAA® S.A.M.E weather alerts. You can start searching at the displayed frequency or enter a frequency and start searching. Use the free Uniden software BCDX60DN SS and BC VUP to manage your scanner's Profiles, Favorites Lists, Databases, and firmware updates. And Alpha Tagging lets you assign names to up to 1,000 channels so you can keep track of who you are listening to. Organize your channels by department, location, area of interest, or any other way you prefer. Uniden® Digital Scanners offer you more than ever before.

  • Preloaded DMR/NXDN - scanner comes preloaded with DMR and NXDN so you can start receiving these digital codes as soon as you take it out of the box
  • Trunking and other digital modes, including APCO P25 are not supported; for these digital radio systems monitoring, please check out Uniden® models SDS100, SDS200, BCD436HP, BCD536HP, BCD996P2, BCD325P2, or the HomePatrol-2
  • DCS/CTCSS digital code rapid decode - instantly detects and displays the sub audible tone or digital code so you can quickly determine the system settings
  • 1,000 alpha-tagged channels - alpha tagging lets you assign names to your channels so you can keep track of who you are listening to; organize your channels by department location, area of interest, or any other way you prefer
  • Quick search - allows you to start searching at the displayed frequency or enter a frequency and start searching
  • PC programming - use BCD260DN SS Software and BC VUP software to set and program frequencies and firmware updates
  • Coverage frequencies - 25 to 512 MHz, 758 to 824 MHz, 849 to 869 MHz, and 894 to 960 MHz
  • Includes attached belt clip, hand strap, rubber antenna, USB cable, and rechargeable NiMH batteries
