• Treats arthritis in swine caused by Mycoplasma hyosynoviae
• Treats pneumonia in swine caused by Pasteurella spp
• Treats erysipelas (a bacterial infection of the outer layers of the skin) caused by Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae
• When followed by appropriately medicated feed or drinking water, treats acute swine dysentery associated with Treponema hyodysenteriae
• Controls American Foulbrood (Paenibacillus larvae) in honey bees

Special Precautions

• Keep out of reach of animals and children.
• Avoid contact with human skin.
• Overdosing baby pigs could cause shock or death.
• Not safe for use in horses.
• Avoid using with other types of antibiotics such as clindamycin, chloramphenicol, and lincomycin.
• Do not slaughter chickens for food within 24 hours of dosing, and do not slaughter turkeys for food within 5 days.
• Do not use in layers producing eggs for human consumption.

Overdose Information

Immediately contact your closest emergency animal hospital or vet.

Side Effects

Adverse reactions in hogs include:

• Anal protrusion
• Rectal mucosa edema
• Pruritus (itching)
• Erythema
• Diarrhea

If you observe any of these side effects, discontinuing use usually resolves the effects and results in recovery.
