Worked fine

I don't know why all the negative reviews. I bought one yesterday to put in my splitting maul and it worked fine. It is just a hickory stick not much room for error

Poor Quality
In an effort to keep the price low, quality was traded off. This handle lasted for minutes before it split. Probably not FOUR minutes. TSC must learn that if we can get quality, rural-living folks are willing to shell out the extra dollar or two. It costs more than that to drive into town.

Poor quality

Bought to fix an old sledge hammer that was splitting to break the concrete off the bottom of some chainlink post. Replaced the handle and made it to the fourth post and the handle broke at the head. Poor quality.

Handle broke during first use
I do not recommend this product. The first handle I bought broke after a few swings. The handle split into two pieces right down the center. I then took the defective handle back and was given a second handle. The second handle also broke during its first use. This time the handle sheared off at the end where the handle meets the metal. This time I will be returning the defective handle and getting my money back.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Bought this to fix my splitting maul. Worked perfectly, and easy to do, no alterations were needed to install.
