Avoid Tractor Supply At All Costs

The tiller locked up after 10 minutes of use. The store manager will no longer take my calls. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Now I'm out $3630.00.

Transmission failure after only 30 minutes of use.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just replaced my 38 yr old Econo Horse with a brand new Big Red. After less than 30 minutes in the garden with the new Big Red, I believe it had some sort of catastrophic transmission failure. The drive wheels turn, but the tines won't. Tried moving the Tines/PTO Clutch Lever to either position, but neither would work. I called Troy for support; they expect me to pay a local service center to pick up the tiller and get it serviced. Parts and labor may or may not be covered under warranty. I won't know until after I pay the service center to come pick up the broken tiller. Troy said they won't cover the transportation cost. At this point I would like to just return the tiller to Troy, but they won't allow a return because I put gas and oil in the engine. Right now I hate to invest any more money in this broker tiller just to fine out if Troy will cover anything under their warranty. This type of service is not what I had grown accustom to with the old Troy-Bilt products. Maybe I should have picked up something cheap from my local hardware store; at least I could easily return something there when it had an infant failure.
No, I do not recommend this product.
