Ive owned this helmet for 3 years and just recently had a fall in it. It was confirmed by a concussion specialist that the band that tightens behind your head, caused my hopefully only temporary blindness. Because of its position and how any impact is sent straight to the band, no other reason a fall to the side of my head caused so much damage directly behind my head. So if you buy Troxel please do not buy these ones with the tightening band directly behind your head.

Bought as a birthday gift for my 11 yr old daughter. She LOVES it and is extremely picky! Very high quality, sits nicely and no adjustments were needed. We bought a size M for reference based on the head measurement. Highly recommend!
