Love IRH helmets and this one’s no exception. It was time for a new schooling helmet and I looked at a lot of models. Really glad I selected this one. Take IRH’s advice and measure your head to ensure a proper fit. Get compliments from barn friends about how nice this helmet is.

Not a bad fit if you are used to GPA

I used to ride in IRH about 5 years ago - but they made a lot of changes to their shape which resulted in fitting issues, hence I switched to GPA helmets. Specifically the Titium. I love that thing. However, it is old and I am worried it might not be the best brain protection at this point. I tried the GPA's that are currently being sold and I absolutely hate the look. I want a nice velvet helmet that simply protects. One K does not fit me, Samshield does not fit and I found my way back to the IRH. This particular one fits well. It is a bit more oval than round, but it doesn't squeeze my temples but stays on and has very little gap up front. Interestingly enough: The IR4G XLT does not fit me at all. Pricepoint is also a bit more in line with what I am willing to spend.
