- A: This battery box are mainly designed to use in the cars/indoor instead of outdoor, so it is not featured with rain/water prevention from entering the box. The small box only fits Group 24 small batteries. The Large box can be used for Group 27 and 31 batteries, the bracket will be needed to hold the battery in position if put a smaller battery in the large box.2 years agoHelpful?
Q: Where are the vents? Are these the small holes on top of the box? Won't those holes allow rain/water to enter box? Why does the large box come with bracket, but small box does not? Thanks!

This battery box are mainly designed to use in the cars/indoor instead of outdoor, so it is not featured with rain/water prevention from entering the box. The small box only fits Group 24 small batteries. Defective shipment, no resolution.

Product is only available for shipping. Received bottom of battery box only. Top was not in shipment. Called customer service, some with Was instructed to take to store and would receive a refund back to my tsc card. Returned to Lockhart store. Team lead asked me if there were any instructions on what she needed to do with it. I told her I did not receive any instructions for her. Went to Murdocks in San Marcos, bought battery box of shelf. No refund from tractor supply after 2 weeks. Sent query regarding refund and received a response with information on how to buy the battery box. Will be calling customer service today.
