- A: This battery box are mainly designed to use in the cars/indoor instead of outdoor, so it is not featured with rain/water prevention from entering the box. The small box only fits Group 24 small batteries. The Large box can be used for Group 27 and 31 batteries, the bracket will be needed to hold the battery in position if put a smaller battery in the large box.2 years agoHelpful?
Q: Where are the vents? Are these the small holes on top of the box? Won't those holes allow rain/water to enter box? Why does the large box come with bracket, but small box does not? Thanks!

This battery box are mainly designed to use in the cars/indoor instead of outdoor, so it is not featured with rain/water prevention from entering the box. The small box only fits Group 24 small batteries.
