- A: The TXA-65 is a non-spillable AGM battery. It is recommended to install this battery the same way the OE battery was installed. However, since this is non-spillable, custom mounting at an angle or on a side should not be a problem.5 years agoHelpful?

Dead right from store!!!

Bought this battery today 11/22/2020. Got home and installed it and closed and they have my old battery that was still working. So now I am not going to make it to work now. And tractor supplies battery is going to cost me twice as much because of lost work. Not happy at all

Why AGM vs. flooded

This is an automotive style battery. This is an AGM style battery, as opposed to a flooded battery. AGM stands for absorbed glass mat, meaning the electrolyte solution is absorbed into a mat that is between the lead plates of the battery, as opposed to the lead plates being suspended in a liquid electrolyte. This improves the vibration resistance and limits the ability of the solution to "spill" from the battery, making the battery safer. As well, all else being the same, typical AGM batteries last longer, making up for any increased cost thereof. I purchased this battery for my JEEP, as my JEEPs computer does not like old batteries, even though they test good. It works just fine in my application, and I am satisfied with my purchase.
