We have purchased different types of tool boxes to go in the back of our farm/work trucks over the years. Even though this was our first purchase for this type of tool chest, so far we are pleased with this product. Even though they offered a warranty to cover the springs and gasket we did not purchase that warranty. Getting it loaded into the back of the truck wasn't a problem and screwing it the bed took no time at all. The only thing was that we wished we could of gotten a black tool chest instead of the steel of the metal looking one. The price did not seem that unreasble compaired to other stores and believe you me, we shopped around first.

Latches keep bending

I purchased this box 3 months ago. Very, very disappointed. Firstly they had big card board sings on each side. They used a heavy duty white silicone to attach them to the box!! They didn't just use a few dabs , they plastered it. Had a very time consuming removal process. NOT NECESSARY!!
Also very difficult to get anything in box. Compressor, etc. lid only opens so far. Then to top it off, you look at the latching mechanism wrong and they bend, easily. Causing difficulty to latch and unlatch. Very poor quality.

The lid welds came apart during the first year. Now it can’t even keep out any rain because the metal has separated from the lock. I will have to pay someone to re-weld it together.

It still hasn’t arrived. i ordered on December 14th. it is january 6th. I’ve called more than a dozen times and nobody will answer my questions. I will never order anything from tractor supply ever again. that’s $350 just gone.
