Defective seat

I picked this up at the store, but I purchased it on line. When I put it together I saw the lever on the seat was defective so I called the number on the paper work that came with it insted of taking it back to the store. I gave made 2 calls to them and they said both times it would be taken care of. I can't use the seat I have to be able to raise and lower it to use it. I still have not had any help with it .

Good looking stool just not the welds

Good design stool, the welds are just tacks holding the metals together. Not sure if these are mass production and tacked together by robot welders.
