- A: Ligthing Instructions: 1-Postion the grill on a flat surfaceand open vents. 2-Place charcoal in a pyramid formation,with an opening in its center. 3-Light paper towels slightly soaked with vegetable oil and put in center opening. Or use an all natural fire starter( as per Instruction's) to light the charcoal. 4-Wait for 10-15 minutes until all the charcoal is lit and then spread over the grill.a month agoHelpful?

Great natural charcoal, lump sizes are great. I used a chimney starter to get it going. it burns nice and hot, lasts a long time, and gives brisket and steaks perfect smoke flavor Great lump! will buy again.

Gotra be the worst charcoal ever. I only cook on charcoal all the tine. Getting this to light and get hot was impossible. Never again. I got it in a pinch. Ill stick with kingsford.
