This tool drawer is on it's fifth truck

I've had this on the last 5 trucks I've owned. Even used it in the shop some. Easily removed to carry large items (the base remains bolted to the truck). Still works as new. Finish is also holding up very well. Contents have always remained dry, secure, and are easily accessible.

Poor workman ship the welds broke loose.

The tool box is a little over 1 year old. The welds has broken had to use screws to hold it together. The latch that holds the box to the truck bed is broken also. Wasn't treated bad. The store manager said I should have taken the extended warranty . Why would you need warranty on welding. That is $30 added to the price already. I will pay a little more and get one some place else that is made better and thicker material. Very disappointed in there workman ship!

Build them better please!!!

I fell in love with these when I bought 2 and put them in the bed of my truck in the corners against the tailgate.
With 2 boxes I could fix almost anything on the farm right from the tailgate. You still have the majority of the truck bed available and you can pull a gooseneck without having to empty tool boxes. What a great plan! But here’s the problems.
All of the seams are spot welded so eventually the box becomes flimsy from carrying the weight in traffic and road vibration.
The spring clips eventually bend and you the box just falls over off of the base. The drawer hardware is flimsy and soon the drawers will just be stacked on top of one another. I bought another pair, welded all the seams
and added some gussets to strengthen up the box itself. That worked great but then the problem with the drawer hardware and the retaining clip showed itself again. At this price point I expect these to last more than a couple of years. Please just build them better and I would buy another set.
