Q: Will this fit on to a side by side? Can it be safely used with a small trailer?

  • A: Yes, the Tractor Supply 2 in. Tri-Ball Hitch Mount will fit a side-by-side provided your UTV is equipped with a standard 2-inch receiver tube opening. It can also be safely used with a small trailer, but there are critical clearance and safety rules you must follow,Small trailers typically use a 1-7/8 inch or 2-inch coupler. You must rotate the mount to match the exact size stamped on your trailer's coupler. Towing a 2-inch trailer coupler on the smaller 1-7/8 inch ball can cause the trailer to violently pop off the hitch while driving
