Q: The hitch sits quite low on my ram 1500 and digs into driveway due yo pitch of friveway from street. Can i flip it upside-down to get more height? Towing max 7k horse trailer. Instructions do not address turning it over.

  • A: Yes, you can absolutely flip your Tractor Supply 2 in. Adjustable Tri-Ball Hitch Mount upside down. By removing the hitch pin and rotating the entire shank 180 degrees, you convert it from a 4-inch drop into a 5-inch rise. This will give you roughly 9 inches of height adjustment

Great Hitch for the money. I do wish it was a bit tighter on the rotating ball mechanism though.

Purchased this directly at the store. Have used it a couple of times. Used it to pull a trailer full of hay, and trailer full of debris from deconstructing an old house. A little difficult getting the trailer tongue to drop down on the 2-5/16” ball on the first use, but was as difficult the second time. All in all, pleased with the product.
