- A: Hello, Per the vendor: The 20-9655 horse size has the following measurements: Chest to rein: 20"| Sides: 20"| Girth to chest: 19" - 28" The 20-9656 cob size has the following measurements: Chest to rein: 17"| Sides: 19"| Girth to chest: 19" - 28" The straps that go from breastplate to saddle are very adjustable as well as the connection of the martingale to the breastplate.2 years agoHelpful?
Q: Can you take the Martingale off and use it just as an english breast plate?

Very nice quality, but too small for large horse.

Very nice quality. Sadly it was too small for my big girl as she is a drafty type Fjord. I will have to return it. I could not tell from the picture, it has no adjustment for neck size. Would probably fit the average horse.
