The base of this boot is triple-layered for durability and the top is flexible enough to open wide for easy on/off. Complete with a "Quick Grip" strap to secure boot and prevent spillage. Runs big seems like a good boot

We’ve had a pair of Davis medicine boots that have come in so handy for the rare times our horses had injuries, abscess over the past 11 years. Finally one of the boots wore out and was so sad to find out Davis is now out of business. According to the measurements online to size this tough1 boot my horse should have worn large but got it and was way too big. Medium fits him fine and I’m hoping they will be as long lasting and handy as the other brand I liked so much. Ther seem comfortable for my horse and easy on off. I think they’ll work out just fine.

tough 1 hoof saver boots

I found the boots very difficult to apply and keep in place on my geldings front feet. They were the correct size . My gelding hated them. I was unable to remove them after 2 days and ended cutting the Velcro to get them off.-made well, but not user friendly.

VERY durable boot is for a bigger hoof then my horse which isTbredx so I used it for soaking and had to tape to her leg after I dried it and packed it with brearhable gauze. all in all it worked out!!
