These high-quality aluminum stirrups feature rubber grip treads for greater traction. Medium-sized, the 3 in. out safety stirrups have a 5x5 in. inside measurement and a 7 in. outside measurement. Weighing 0.9 lb., the western safety stirrups have a 3-1/2 in. x 1-1/4 in. tread.

We purchased a pair of these a number of years ago for our county's riding for the disabled program. We liked them and decided to get 2 more pair this year. They look nice and work well!

Bit heavier than I thought I would like. The release can be pulled by hand and secures strongly when in place. I have full confidence the release will spring if need. No spring when not needed. Wide toe box is new to me. Love it. So much stability and room. Was not sure at first buy my 3rd ride I am not taking them off.

Not the size listed-- but a great safety stirrup

I would give these five stars- but they were described as having a 2 1/2 inch neck, and the neck is a full 3" and just a bit clumsy with my fenders. Otherwise, they are a really nice western stirrup, indisiguishable that they are a safety stirrup. I wish the neck was narrower, but that is the only complaint. Not sure if it is a listing issue or an inventory issue. Not worth a return, because they do the job.
