The port is much larger then pictured. It is a medium port not a low port.

Love this bit. Works well. I use it on two of mine and they have both dropped into the bridle softly. Really helps a horse to drop the head in the correct position without pulling. I haven’t used them for long but I love the response my horses are giving so far. I will say the riders hands must be soft in order for this to work correctly. So far.. so good
