Last January bought this blanket for my horse to try have had several others and were not made well they ripped easy or the straps would break and this blanket although we do not get much cold weather here in the south has been amazing. He has worn it a few times in the last couple of months no tears no straps have broken. He had it on for a week at the end of this year and will have it on. It was a very good coat and held up a good long time. The others I bought after all broke and or tour after one or two wires I highly recommend if you need a winter coat for your horse this is a very Well-made, tough good product and keeps your horse warm. I am about to order the neck warmer, coat has attachments for accessories. I read about this product and I wanted water proof for sure and it said it was and thermal and it is what the product description says it is, but I think it’s better because he has worn it several times and no tears. Nothing has broken. The last few I got were torn after a couple wires or a strap broke not worth the money. This one was not cheap, but it was not way overpriced. It really worked and in a great job keeping my horse nice and cozy in the cold weather. I doubt we ever see snow like we did this year, but just in case I want to cover his neck for the next one I hope anyone that reads this That this helps you at first I thought this is a very light coat but it isn’t. It’s very well-made very soft on the inside, stitching with quilting and definitely waterproof and keeps him very warm.

Seems tough and well made. Fits a 14.2 pretty nice. Would definitely buy one again if needed.
