Works great.... but when I received the package it was damaged the top of the bagger had scratches and stickers ripped some of the metal was scratched and paint missing one of the bags was ripped

I purchased this Bagger PN 79346 for my 2020 Toro Titan Model 75311 through other outlets but figured I would write a review here to share my experiences with the bagger. This item arrives in a massive, sturdy, cardboard box on a small pallet that was delivered to my home via freight truck. It was packaged nicely although I was missing a part, the stabilizer bracket for the drawbar. a quick email to Toro and they responded saying they have shipped the part out to me. Assembly will take a bit of time. The instruction manual could use a few more illustrations, and if it were in color that would be a big help but I managed to get through it. You will have to contort your arms and hands to get some of this stuff mounted specifically when mounting the baffle in the mower deck, as well as the assembly together the upper and lower vac tubes. You will need a 1-1/8in socket to undo the nut on top of one of the mower spindles to attach the upper pulley that will drive the bagger impeller. An impact gun will REALLY help you here. Getting the lower tube onto the impeller housing was and still is very difficult. I used a heat gun to warm up the edges to get them more pliable to make the fitment easier. Hopefully that will get slightly easier over time. Here are the issues I encountered when installing/using this bagger: My Titan 75311 is the MyRide with 48in deck. There is a new upper cover for the top pulley they want you to install however I found that the cover contacts the bottom of the mower frame and won't allow you to lift your mower deck to the max height. For me it starts to hit at 4in, leaving the 4in, 4-1/4in, and 4-1/2in settings usable. I run without that top cover and it doesn't bother me but I figure I would mention it here. With the bagger kit, you have to install the front weight kit. The bracket that holds the weight prevents you from being able to use Toro Accessory 140-2067 which is the jack mount. The jack mount lets you use a trailer jack to lift the mower up to easily access the undercarriage, change blades, etc. There was no warning with either the bagger kit or the jack mount that the jack mount accessory would be unusable. I reached out to Toro and they said they would forward the information on internally. You may be able to hack some stuff around to make the jack mount work but it would require some cutting to the front weight bracket. Also with the bagger kit, it prevents you from easily using Toro Accessory 140-2066 which is a bucket mount so you can affix a 5gal bucket to the rear of the machine for debris/trash collection or to carry tools and other items with you. If the draw bar that holds the bags was just a little taller there wouldn’t be this issue with the bucket mount. Again, I also relayed this to Toro and hopefully the information makes its way to the correct people there. Using the bagger for leaf pickup is a VERY dusty experience. Myself and the machine were covered in dust after the first use. The leaves do get chopped up very fine due to both the blades and the impeller processing them. I used some PVC drainage pipe tape at the join between the upper and lower vac tubes and that seemed to help a little bit. Keep an eye on your air filter as it takes a beating in that dusty environment. I think the main thing is to try to mow in a pattern so that you avoid the dusty wake that your mower leaves behind. It is a bit disappointing that you may need to make an additional purchase, the Toro bagging enhancement kit Part Number 140-5121 (this is for 48in deck). It helps with the “blow out” out of the front of the deck because of air resistance in air flow out of the deck when the bagger is installed. I feel like this should just be a standard part with how expensive this bagging kit is. There may be a lot of negative or nit picking here but i just want to share all these experiences I’ve had with this mower and bagger. I do enjoy using the bagger, it really helps clean the lawn up. I want to make it through this leaf season to determine if the bagger was worth the large investment. I am disappointed that my bucket mount and jack mount accessory are currently unusable as I really enjoyed having those options on the mower. Hopefully Toro comes out with some updates or workarounds to get them usable again.
