Great Dog Food

This is a great all around dog food. In my local area, it is one of the best, if not THE best, dog food available. I have kept my personal dog on this food since he was a puppy after long searches reading these similar reviews. I also foster dogs for a local foster based rescue group. I can say that of all the dogs I have fostered, I have fed all of them Taste of the Wild and I have not had any problems with upset stomach from switching them over. I recommend changing them over gradually, but in a foster situation, there is no gradual change possible. I have personally recommended this product to most of friends, family, and fellow foster parents. Many of them have switched to Taste of the Wild with great success. Give it a try!

The Gas was Intolerable!!

My dog liked this food okay, but her gas was room clearing (much worse than if she eats rich table food like chicken or steak), and she was always sluggish. She also moaned a lot when lying down shortly after eating, I think she was having cramps. I switched to a cheaper brand food that is corn, soy, and gluten free, and she is MUCH better. More active, no gas, and rarely ever moans. TOTW is too rich for a lot of dogs.

I slowly introduced this product to my dogs and they all got sick and had diarrhea. It was not pleasant and I have switched to something else and it is gone. I really wanted it to be something they would enjoy.
