Synovex Choice increases the weight gain rate in steers that have been confined and fed for slaughter. It contains estradiol benzoate and trenbolone acetate, growth-promoting ingredients.
Special Precautions
- Not for use in veal calves.
- Safety and efficacy for use in veal calves are not proven.
- For pre-ruminating calves, a withdrawal period has not been determined.
- Do not try to salvage the implant site for animal or human food.
- Pellets should only be implanted in the ear. Any other use violates federal law.
- Only for animal use. Not safe for human use.

Side Effects
Synovex C implants can lead to the following conditions in calves:
- Elevated tailheads
- Ventral edema
- Udder development
- Vaginal prolapse
- Rectal prolapse
- Bulling
Store are room temperature. Avoid heat and humidity.
Once opened, store up to six months refrigerated or at room temperature (15-30°C/59-86°F) up to one month.
Use before expiration date on label.
Active Ingredients
Synovex Choice, a trenbolone acetate (TBA) and estrogen (E2) combination implant contains 100 mg of TBA and 14 mg of estradiol benzoate (10.1 mg of E2) and is approved for use in steers.
Tips
Entire contents of a cartridge should be implanted in each steer. The appropriate technique for implantation is detailed in the fold-out section of the carton.
