The Surebonder Rivet Tool is a light duty highly durable rivet tool for projects that need strong solid riveting. The rivet tool offers great flexibility allowing it to be used to fasten wood, metal, plastic, soft-thin materials and much more. The 1.35-lbs. weight and spring-optimized handle make for a comfortable workflow, while the unscrewable slotted head cap enables easy changing and cleaning. This hand tool comes with 4 interchangeable nosepieces and wrench.

  • Comes with 4 different nosepieces that measure 3/32 in., 1/8 in., 5/32 in., and 3/16 in.

Q: rivet get stuck. How to repair this?

    A: Here is a general troubleshooting guide for a stuck rivet: If the rivet mandrel is hard to put into the rivet tool or does not eject out the back of the rivet tool, you might need to grease or lightly oil the tapered face of the jaws. To grease or oil this area remove the nosepiece and open handles completely. With the jaws now showing, apply a small amount of grease or oil. Do not allow the grease/oil to get on serration of jaws as this will hinder the ejection of the mandrel. Replace the nosepiece. Hope this was helpful.. Thank you.

Q: Cannot load rivet. Jaws appear to be stuck closed! Is the unit repairable or is it trashed? I have only used it once 6 months ago.

Worked ok a few times.

Worked ok at first but now it only breaks off the tip of the mandrel where the jaws grab and leaves most of it sticking out of the rivet. Have only used Surebonder aluminum rivets

No, I do not recommend this product.
