The Better Clamp

Having the flat surface up top is really nice to work on. Where as other table clamps have the clamp itself in the way.

I needed a vise to tighten an impeller. Torque valve is 92 foot pounds. At about 40 the impeller shaft came loose so I tightened the vise. At about 80 foot pounds the shaft came loose again. I pulled out the impeller shaft and saw the vise had bent 1/2”
No, I do not recommend this product.

This thing is awesome. I love that it is low profile, and has a storage bracket. I’m in an f250 service truck, and I was able to mount this on my bumper out of the way, but it’s short enough to where I can still open my tailgate. Space is at a premium for me, but I really needed a vise for my work. This opens wide, is plenty study. I can flip the vise to work outside the edge of my bumper, or if I need something really heavy, I can move it to my hitch. Very useful design, love it!
