The Sunnydaze Decor 17 in. Round Cast Iron Umbrella Base Stand ensures that most patio umbrellas will stay safely fixed in place. I've purchased two of these stand umbrellas from TSC - Love it - they're the 17" base so much sturdier than the 16" -- which I have an older one I bought from OSH years ago -- I like the 17" from TSC much better!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There was nothing in the description for this stand that stated it could only be used with a table. When I called you, I was told that you have no stands that don't require a table. So, now I am forced to buy a table. I am going to do this only because it would be a lot more hassle to return the umbrella and stand that I have already purchased. Once I buy the table I will not buy anything else from you.
