Disappointment awaits

This windmill is not rated to withstand any wind.  My blades broke off after one day of mild to moderate winds.  The replacement parts are impossible to obtain.  I had it less than a week and blades are broken.  Very disappointed.

After balancing , works great.

Have had this item for about 5 years with no problems. The key was to balance it. I placed it on the shop bench and spun it until it stopped, marked the bottom vane and drilled a hole and placed a bolt on the opposite top vane, weighted with washers until it spun evenly. It can now handle strong winds and won't vibrate off the spindle shaft.

10’ windmill

My wife totally enjoyed the windmill. I found the construction interesting and the instructions easy to follow with the exception of the “fan” part. It was a little short on details on which way to install the fan. I wound up installing it backwards. Nonetheless, I would buy one again if needed or recommend it for someone that wants an authentic looking windmill.

Absolutely TERRIBLE! It started falling apart about 35 days after purchase and of course I can't return it. Very disappointed. Complete waste of money. Welded parts are horrible
