The Sunheat Commercial/Restaurant Outdoor Weatherproof Electric Wall Mounted Heater uses a patented quartz lamp surrounded by an emitter. The gold coated emitter in the electric heater is designed to deliver a hotter, more instant heat. Unlike other outdoor heaters, this wall mounted heater gives a very low glare, but you will feel warm and comfortable immediately. The body of the electric heater is manufactured from powder-coated aluminum for protection from the weather.1 year

Q: If mounted vertically, does the mounting bracket allow for the unit to rotate left or right? Is the bracket hinged?

- A: Yes, the heater can be mounted vertically and will then be able to rotate left and right. The brcket is stagnant, however there are bolts that will easily loosen and tighten to allow the heater to rotate. You simply plug it into the wall and the infrared heating element starts to warm up giving off safe, soft, comfortable infrared heat. - A: This particular model plugs into a standard 110v wall outlet to heat and must be unplugged to be turned off unless it is wired by a professional electrician to run off a wall switch or rheostat. If a home is "smart", then there are outlets which can be used to turn on the heater based on what plug-in is being used.7 years agoHelpful?

Works well, only one drawback is on off is by plugging it or unplugging. Switch or remote would have been nice. I use it for an open patio. It keep space slightly warmer, but relative to the size of it.
