- A: The Laguna Pedal boat has a max capacity of 459lbs meaning you most likely will not fit 5 adults. It is designed more for 2 adults and children. There is an extra set of pedals near the center of the boat for someone to sit in the center and pedal while the other 2 persons can use the standard pedals to assist in pedaling.11 months agoHelpful?

An attractive little boat that is easy to pedal. Be aware that even though it claims to carry 5 passengers the total weight limit is only 459 pounds which is rather low compared to other pedal boats. Shipping is expensive.

Fun for a few - not 5

Arrived just in time for Memorial Day weekend. The family had fun on the lake, taking turns to enjoy it. My only criticism is that on the boat, it is clearly posted that no more than 375lbs. Meaning that my family couldn’t enjoy the boat together with two adults, a tween, and a small teen. Not the weight advertised. And five people would have to be three small people.
