They don’t honor the warranty

Sun-Dolphin (parent company) refuses to honor the warranty on a 7 month old American Jon that developed a crack. This is definitely a manufacturers defect and they have been giving me the run around for over a month. Now they want me to use a heat gun with plastic to repair the crack although they claim it’s a puncture. It’s on the inside of the boat and not external so explain how that happens. I would not recommend buying one of these boats.

My purchase of a 12 ft. Sundolphin Jon boat is of great value and was significantly on sale at time of purchase. Heavy duty plastic was stronger than I expected. I am very pleased with the purchase and the quality of the boat! TSC store personnel in Newton, Illinois were fantastic to work with; friendly, helpful and customer focused!
