Solid measuring device, durable, and easy to read

I use mine at work quite a bit when I need to measure vertically or measure longer distances. It goes out quite a bit without dropping significantly and doesn't kink. I really like that it is uncluttered and easy to read. The only drawback that I see is that it is bulky and isn't comfortable hanging on my pocket when I don't have a toolbelt on. I've had it for quite a while and it still retracts quickly, I use my finger as a brake to stop it from slamming home.

Serviceable and accurate Long lasting, though I've noticed that the new model doesn't last as long as the one I purchased 50-55years ago. The spring is cheaper i assume.
