Appreciate your feedback! Bummed to hear this wasn't working out the way you'd like it. As an alternative to this type of Power Tool Trap, we'd suggest securing a Squids® 3703 Extended Loop Tails onto the tool with a roll of Squids® 3755 Self-Adhering Tape. That'll remove the risk of dirtying up any hook & loop closures and will also give you full access to the bottom for battery access.

This is great unique device, the only complant is that it is a bit of a pain to change batteries on the tower. All in all it keeps my impact from falling.
