The Squids Coiled Tool Lanyard with Dual Carabiners securely tethers hand tools, PPE, and other small gear to prevent them from becoming dangerous dropped objects when working at heights. With dual manual locking screw gate aluminum carabiners, this versatile coil tool lanyard provides a variety of options for secure connection to anchor points as well as captive holes or retrofitted attachment points on tools. The low-profile coiled dual carabiner design stays out of the way to reduce snag or tangle hazards. Tested and approved to ANSI/ISEA 121 for dropped object prevention. This coil tool lanyard is ideal for construction, telecom, oil and gas, power generation, utilities, wind, manufacturing, municipalities and scaffolding.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lanyard is lightweight and easy to wear. The coil design helps it stay small and out of the way, but the coil extends very easily to allow for comfortable tool usage. The screw lock carabiners are better suited for hooking up and staying hooked up, as opposed to transferring between tools/objects, so plan your configuration accordingly.

Yes, I recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tether is very easy to use and connect. The cool style doesn’t easily tangle which makes it easy to just toss in you bag and pull out when needed. It was easy to manipulate even with gloves on. I knocked off half a star because I would’ve liked it better if it had the self locking gates on the carabiners rather than the screw gates.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great lightweight way to secure and hand tool, wrench, or lightweight tool in your arsenal. As you can see I use this to keep my so called “speedy” wrench or “dog bone” close by and 100% tied off preventing and drops from off the tower while installing antennas or any equipment. love the locking beaners as well gives you that added sense of security that your tools aren’t going to fall out of you pouch or off the tower putting anyone at risk. All and all great addition to any tool tethering system you have.
