- A: Well you can try with customer service. But you will probably have to buy the whole windmill. At any rate buy one that has the bolt on blades. The windmills with the tack weld blades do not last. I know because I had two of them and they destroyed themselves. The bolt on blade type is a lot more work to assemble but far better quality.5 years agoHelpful?

It's a good windmill... But there are at least 150 screws and nuts and this windmill on the bar that the the blade holder slides on was welded backwards..So I had to modify the bar

We ordered the 8 ft windmill received some sort of ac motor returned to local Tractor Supply and correct item was re ordered and dwe were charged for tge item again. Waited forever to speak with CS to be told credit would be applied to our acct by 3/18. Still no credit

It's a nice addition to our yard. I bought it to straddle our well head to be visible so people won't back over it! Works like a charm.
