Begin feeding SPORTMiX Puppy Small Bites dry or moistened at 3 - 4 weeks of age or as soon as your puppy begins chewing on solid foods. To serve moistened, combine 11/2 of food with 1 cup of warm water. Mix until well moistened and soft. Allow your puppy to eat 4 times a day for about 15 - 20 minutes until he reaches 3 months of age. From 3 - 6 months of age, feed your puppy all he will eat 3 times a day. Gradually reduce feedings to a single daily feeding from 6 months of age to a year. The amount of food you give your puppy will vary depending on breed, size and activity level. Have clean fresh water available at all times.
On days 1 & 2 of the change, you should have plenty of your pet's old food left. Fill the bowl with 3 quarters of the old food, and one quarter of SPORTMiX. On days 3 & 4, add in another quarter, so you have half old food, half SPORTMiX. On days 5 & 6, mix one quarter old food and 3 quarters SPORTMiX. In only 7 days, your pet will be on an all-new diet of SPORTMiX.

- A: I would recommend feeding your pup the puppy food. It has more vitamins and nutrition your growing puppy needs! I personally feed my bully pups this until 6-7 months. If you have been feeding the black bag the whole time I would start adding the pup food so it don’t hurt his stomach by changing too quick. Hope this helps5 years agoHelpful?

Ok, but small kibbles.

Again, what is up with the small kibbles?! Very small kibbles(2nd brand). 5-8 mm. My puppies eat it, but very small. I don't recommend if you have large breed puppies. My puppies are 8 wks and 20lbs and over. Won't be buying again because of the size kibble. Proly good for medium to little breed dogs.

I have been feeding Sportsmix for about 3 months now. Started with feeding the mom, then the pups.
All have done very well. mom produced plenty of milk, considering she had 8 pups.
And the pups have gained weight. I am very pleased with the results.

We loved this food! Our guy was on it for a year and never had any issues at all. The kibble is a great size and it has lots of protein and he loved the taste. We would recommend this food to anyone and it’s a great price too!

It's ok solid poops, pups eat it but goes straight through them. I'm talking nonstop pooping. They also have started eating their poop since I've switched to this food so I'm not sure if they're missing nutrients. Going to try something else.
