Good health begins with proper feeding. SPORTMiX can help maintain your dog's health when combined with exercise, veterinary care, and controlling intake of other food and treats. Use this chart as a guide, adjusting as necessary to maintain optimal weight. Portions will vary according to age, breed, temperament and environment. Offer clean, fresh water at all times. See your veterinarian regularly. Feeding amounts are based on a standard 8 oz. dry measuring cup.
When introducing SPORTMiX, mix increasing amounts of SPORTMiX with decreasing amounts of the current food over a 7 to 10-day period. During gestation and lactation, feed 2 to 4 times the portions recommended for the weight of your adult dog. Puppies often begin to eat solid foods at 3 to 4 weeks of age. - A: Hi, Here is the feeding guide for this food. As always we recommend you consult your pets veterinarian for specific dietary questions. Begin feeding SPORTMiX Puppy Small Bites dry or moistened at 3 - 4 weeks of age or as soon as your puppy begins chewing on solid foods. To serve moistened, combine 11/2 of food with 1 cup of warm water. Mix until well moistened and soft. Allow your puppy to eat 4 times a day for about 15 - 20 minutes until he reaches 3 months of age. From 3 - 6 months of age, feed your puppy all he will eat 3 times a day. Gradually reduce feedings to a single daily feeding from 6 months of age to a year. - A: I would recommend feeding your pup the puppy food. It has more vitamins and nutrition your growing puppy needs! I personally feed my bully pups this until 6-7 months. If you have been feeding the black bag the whole time I would start adding the pup food so it don’t hurt his stomach by changing too quick. Hope this helps5 years agoHelpful?

Ok, but small kibbles.

Again, what is up with the small kibbles?! Very small kibbles(2nd brand). 5-8 mm. My puppies eat it, but very small. I don't recommend if you have large breed puppies. My puppies are 8 wks and 20lbs and over. Won't be buying again because of the size kibble. Proly good for medium to little breed dogs.

I have been feeding Sportsmix for about 3 months now. Started with feeding the mom, then the pups.
All have done very well. mom produced plenty of milk, considering she had 8 pups.
And the pups have gained weight. I am very pleased with the results.
