It relies on a mechanical pin or bolt passing completely through the adapter and the tractor's shaft to stay secure under load. How It Attaches and Stays Secure The Cross-Pin Hole: The female receiver side of this specific CountyLine adapter has a hole drilled horizontally through the collar Alignment with the PTO Groove/Hole: You slide the adapter over your tractor's male 1-1/8 in. PTO shaft. You must line up the hole on the adapter with either the cross-hole or the snap-ring/detent groove on your tractor’s PTO shaft Securing the Connection: To lock it in place, you must insert a high-tensile bolt or a standard CountyLine PTO Lock Pin all the way through the aligned holes and secure it with a nut or a lynchpin clip2 days agoHelpful?
