Hyperkeratosis in dogs, cats and horses can be treated with Solva-Ker Solva-Kel Humectant Gel for Dogs, Cats and Horses. Hyperkeratosis is a condition caused by excessive thickening of the skin, leading to dryness and crustiness. The reason Solva-Kel gel works is because it breaks down the outer layer of this skin, decreasing thickness. It also has a moisturizing effect to help improve the skin's appearance and reduce discomfort. Solva-Kel gel may also help treat and remove corns, callouses and warts.How it Works
Keratolytic compounds including salicylic acid and urea break down the outermost layer of the skin and can decrease the thickness.
Special Precautions
Keep away from children. For topical use only. Do not ingest. Keep out of eyes or mucosal membranes. Use as directed.

Water, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Aminomethyl Propanol, Urea, Yeast Amino Acids, Trehalose, Inositol, laurine, Betaine, Sodium Lactate, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylnexylglycerin
Not for oral administration. Apply a thin layer of gel to the affected area once daily up to 28 days. Rub completely into the skin so that no excess medication is visible. Reduce frequency upon visible signs of improvement. Do not apply to damaged or broken skin. Wash hands after use.
