This backpack sprayer also includes a low number of wearing parts and sturdy technology to ensure a long service life and minimum maintenance. It has a 48 in. nylon-reinforced high-pressure hose for extended reach. Viton seals are placed in key locations to ensure long service and durability.

- A: There are 4 fingers on the regulator knob. The finger farthest to the left is #1; to the right is #4. They are numbered 1, 2,3, 4. 1 = 15 psi, 2 = 30 psi, 3 = 45 psi, 4 = 60 psi. The higher the pressure, the more chemical applied from the sprayer in a given amount of time, but the droplets will be smaller with more drift. A great purchase

I have purchased two of these for my pest control company. Used to use stainless steel sprayers from my chemical company, but they were bulky and small. This backpack sprayer allows me to mix up to 4 gallons of product and apply chemical with different spray patterns. I use them every day and they usually last several years before I have to replace seals. Great investment that gives me great results. Definately recommend.

Great for a year- then pump failed completely

I purchased this on a friends recommendation. I loved it for one season. Moderate use and only Roundup. Second year - in mid season the pump failed completely. Perhaps, like so many other things these days Solo has lowered their standards. Whatever, I would never recommend that anyone pay a premium price for such a poor product. My 1 1/2 gallon cheapies have all lasted at 3-4 years and easily outperformed this sorry unit.

solo back pack sprayer

the first unit i purchased it started leaking from the pump unit, i returned it they only had 2 stoked,, that one also leaked from the same area, ,,but the salesman that assembled some unit at the store retightened all the screws, and bolts, after that it seemed to be ok, it does work good now.
