Out the front Smith and Wesson Knife

Ordered this before we realized it's outlawed in NJ, and probably for good reason. The blade shoots out the front of the knife, and seems dangerous and impractical, even with the safety switch. I'll be returning it.

Fast Opener - Requires Practice

Since this knife operates quite differently than a typical pocketknife or folder; be prepared to practice in its safe use. Blade retraction requires some dexterity and thumb strength or opposite hand pull on the “Blade Retraction Slider.” I had intended this knife as a gift for Grandma but she found it difficult for her to retract the blade so Grandpa now has a new knife that he can more easily handle.//
