Doesn't Move Fabric Correctly

Bought this sewing machine about a year ago. It has worked wonderfully for me, as I am an avid quilter. Until lately when the feeder foot wouldn't move the fabric from front to back as is normal! It will only feed fabric from back to front - really strange!! I have cleaned out the machine of all the dust and made sure feeder foot was in the up position, but still doesn't proceed correctly. Loved this machine until this happened.

Singer really needs to consider a few things regarding this specific machine that will help with the sanity of their loyal customers; 1- reconstruct the auto thread cutter (a third time) so it stops doing what it's doing to bring you warranty repairs, and 2- get more trained/approved authorized singer facilities for warranty reasons. Woe is me with this story but picture FINALLY saving up enough money to invest in an awesome machine for your work, getting to know the machine for 4 months, then needing to take it two hours west OR east to the closest singer warranty location because a feature failed on you. (mailing seems crazy, this sewing machine is heavy) And you can't make it a day trip because Singer needs to approve the warranty repair first, which could take up to a week for the facility to receive in order to fix your machine. This frustration will be forcing me to change brands unfortunately; I don't have that kind of time.
